The Engle Lab is excited to welcome our newest undergraduate researcher, Yuhang Zheng, a junior biochemistry major at University of California, San Diego.

Under the mentorship of Yiyao and Madison, Yuhang is eager to gain his first hands-on experience in organic chemistry research and synthetic methods development. We’re thrilled to have him join the team and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes.

The Engle Lab is thrilled to welcome Dr. Souvik Mandal as our newest postdoctoral scholar!

Souvik recently completed his Ph.D. at Rutgers University, where he worked with Professor Alan Goldman developing new organometallic strategies for catalytic N₂ fixation.

He now joins us as a joint postdoc with our Scripps Research collaborator and neighbor, Professor Donna Blackmond. We’re excited to have Souvik bring his expertise in organometallic chemistry and catalysis to the team and look forward to the innovative research ahead.
