We are thrilled to announce that the Engle lab’s second postdoc, Miriam O’Duill, has accepted a position in the Chemistry Department at NUI Galway and will start her independent academic career in January 2018. We can’t wait to see awesome chemistry from the O’Duill group soon! Best of luck on this next adventure, Miriam!

Congratulations to John, Joe, and Zhen, the first class of graduate students in the Engle lab, who have all successfully passed quals and advanced to candidacy during the past month. Well done, team!

After an awesome two months, Huiqi wraps up summer research in the Engle lab. She now heads back to USTC for her junior year, equipped with an expanded knowledge of palladium chemistry and having made many new friend at Scrippss. Thanks to her mentor Zhen for providing excellent guidance over the summer.
